YOUR APARTMENT KEYS

Your apartment number is written on your key fob, with the exception of the Deluxe Townhouse (located on Level G), the 1st number (or 1st 2 numbers if your on floor 11 or 12) indicate which floor your apartment is located on ie apartment 301 is level 3, apartment 1103 is level 11.

PARKING

Please only park in the car park space written on your apartment key fob. If you find another car parked in your spot, please park in a 'visitor space' & then contact reception for assistance.

AIR CONDITIONING

Please only use your air conditioning units with the door closed. Operating your A/C with doors open can lead to condensation leaks, and it's not what David Attenborough would want.

CAN I SMOKE IN MY APARTMENT?

The last time I can remember smoking in a hotel room Bob Hawke was Prime Minister. So, I guess that's a no (and yes, that includes balcony areas-sorry!)

WHEN IS THE CLEANER COMING?

Ah, this is awkward…We are self catering apartments, so unless you’re stay is over 7 nights, they’re not!  Feel free to use the laundry facilities in room, or if you really feel like paying an extra fee for fresh sheets & towels talk to one of the reception team & they’ll organise it for you at cost.

I’VE RUN OUT OF LOO ROLL/SOAP/DISHWASHER TABS/MANGO SCENTED CANDLES, WHAT DO I DO?

We supply a small amount of tea, coffee, cleaning products etc. We are self-catering though. So take a 5-8 min walk to Woolies (Suttons St) & stock up or a 2 min drive if you’re really stocking up. 5-8 mins takes 12-16mins with heavy bags…. 

HOW DO I GET TO THE POOL/GYM/SWIM-UP BAR?

Pool is M Level. Gym is on G Level. Sorry, we were leading you on with the swim-up bar, there isn’t one (RSL is next door though & Bottle shop next to Woolies, Sutton St)

CAN I CHECK OUT LATE?

Yes, for a small hourly fee, talk to us at reception if you need to stay beyond 10am.

CAN I HAVE A REALLY LOUD PARTY IN MY ROOM?

Seriously? No. Please respect all our neighbours. Proximity is a mixed use building with permanent residents & short stay holiday & corporate guests. Enjoy your stay but please no loud music. We reserve the right to evict guests who cause disturbance. 10pm is the quiet time.

CAN I BRING MY DOG NEXT TIME?

No. If you’ve noticed people with dogs, these are residents – they are permitted dogs upon approval of the building committee.

WHEN DOES RECEPTION OPEN/CLOSE?

8.30am - 5pm Mon-Fri. Weekends & Public Holidays 9am - 1pm . If you need the assistance of a staff member after these hours contact 0421 034 472. But please don’t call him because you’ve run out of coffee/tea/scented candles, it makes him very grumpy.

I HAVE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.

Stop reading this, it won’t help, dial 000. Our address is 185 Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe. Ambulances should enter via Bowling Green Lane, Level G.

I NEED TO SPEAK TO A MEMBER OF STAFF

Visit reception. If you need the assistance of a staff member after hours contact 0421 034 472. But please don’t call because you’ve run out of coffee/tea/mango scented candles at 2am – we don’t have a 24hr reception so, you’ll be waking up a human & it makes him very grumpy. Emergencies only please.

WHY CAN’T I GET TO ANOTHER FLOOR LEVEL?

The grey security fob on your keys will only allow you access to your floor (Level G for the Townhouse), level M (for the pool) Level B1 (Reception) & your car park floor.

I BOOKED WITH BOOKING.COM/EXPEDIA/WOTIF/HOTELS.COM, COULD I HAVE SAVED $ IF I’D CALLED YOU DIRECT?

Ah yes, it’s funny you should ask that. We were going to talk to you about that. In a sentence – compare online then call & book direct. In 99% of cases we price all rates sold via third parties (Booking.com Expedia, Wotif etc) higher than guests who booked direct.  

SOMETHING’S NOT RIGHT WITH MY APARTMENT, WHO DO I SPEAK TO, WHAT DO I DO?

Come & talk to us, if something isn’t right we’ll do our best to fix it. If you don’t tell us we won’t know! Telling us your toaster didn’t work three weeks after you’ve checked out via an online review is a highly ineffective method of problem solving.

WHERE DO I PUT MY RUBBISH?

There is a small bin in the kitchen, Each floor level has a rubbish & recycling room next to the Lifts on each floor level - please separate your recycling & non-recyclables where possible.
